1. LEARN virtual Class Room (vCR) for Webinars
LEARN vCR is going to be the ultimate teaching platform for the higher education. It has been hosted on premise, is completely free of charge and can be used under free data facility. It is dedicated for Webinar style teaching for hundreds of students while streaming on YouTube/Facebook for thousands.
LEARN vCR has to be accessed over LEARN Identity Access Federation. When you Sign in, select your institute to give your credentials provided by your home institution. In case you have not been given the institutional credential, you can Sing up for an eduID at
2. Zoom Video Conferencing
LEARN zoom now has become a paid service. Your institution has to contribute LEARN to pay for the Zoom licenses that it is now limited. It is now completely a cloud service (not on premise hosted) and the free data facility no longer available. You might use it for your regular meetings and distance education (virtual class room) up to 300 participants. You have to login to the system using their institutional credentials. Large meetings (500 participants) and Webinar (1000 participants) have to be early scheduled by sending a request to zoom-webinar at learn.ac.lk.
Visit https://learn.zoom.us
Click on Sign in and select your institute from the list (if your institute has been not been listed please contact network/systems administrator of your institute)
Then click Continue to enter your credential (which should be provided by your own institutional identity administrator)
Once you successfully logged in, you will get on to the zoom web page where you can schedule your online zoom meetings/conferences.

Please contact your LMS administrator to get Zoom integrated to your LMS.
