Workshop overview

Containerization has become a pivotal technology in the modern IT landscape, and while it's often associated with software developers, its implications and benefits extend to network engineers as well.

As containerization continues to gain traction, network engineers who understand its intricacies will be better equipped to design, secure, and manage modern networks. It's not just about staying relevant; it's about being prepared for the future of networking. This intensive three-day course equips university IT engineers with essential knowledge and hands-on experience in containerization, focusing on Docker and Kubernetes. Participants will delve into the core concepts of container technology, explore Docker's components, and harness Kubernetes' orchestration capabilities. Real-world scenarios and labs will provide practical insights into building, deploying, and managing containers.

NOC Meeting

It should be a good opportunity for network/systems engineers/operators to know about LEARN operations and how individual campuses operate their IT infrastructures. 20 minutes will be given for a presentation from each institute. Your presentation may include current operations/status of your network, network topology, its services, your experience, successful stories and future development plans, etc. A presentation should have 10 minutes current operations/status and 10 minutes future plans and discussion.
