The Lanka Education and Research Network (LEARN)  has crossed another milestone in the history by completing 30 years of its establishment in 1989. LEARN will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 07th of October 2019 in Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo.

His Excellency Maithripala Sirisena the President of Sri Lanka will grace the occasion. In addition, LEARN has invited all its Members, Higher Education Institutes, relevant Ministries, Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), International and local network communities, and other NRENs to glamour this special occasion.

Prof. Abhaya Induruwa, the Founder of LEARN, will deliver a keynote speech on LEARN history. All the contributors and key personals who were involved in uplifting LEARN and establishing it as a the National Research and Education Network (NREN) will be present at this event.
