ac.lk Domain Registry Service
LEARN, as the authorized domain registrar of ac.lk, helps national research and education institutions in Sri Lanka establish their own unique digital identity by registering and managing .ac.lk domains.
LEARN manages the primary DNS servers of ac.lk in accordance with current DNS security standards. Member institutions may either host their subdomains through LEARN or delegate them to their own DNS servers.
Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS)
High-speed Layer 2 local area networking that interconnects campuses and supports dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 and advanced IP multicast.

LEARN also provides redundant international connectivity through multiple operators. At present, IP transit includes a 10 Gbps commodity Internet link through Dialog, a 4 Gbps commodity Internet link through Sri Lanka Telecom, and a 1 Gbps link to the academic and research Internet through the TEIN4 network.
